My Grandmother's Story - A My Rode Reel Short Film

This short film focuses the lens on the life of an 88 year old Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Moving to pre-independence Singapore, from Malaysia, after marriage, she recounts her journey from memory. From poverty and living in a one room flat with her sister's family, to finally moving into a house of her own. She's now ready for the last chapter of her "rich" life. This short film was made for the My Rode Reel 2020 short film competition.
